KGsApp

KgsApp is the official family app for the members of Pampady Thirumeni Kudumba Sangamam.

Features:

• "News" and "Birthdays" section for the latest happenings and birthdays.

• Birthday notifications are sent at 00:00 IST to all phones so that you do not have to open the app every day to check if there is a birthday baby! (Kindly ensure that 'Google Play Services' is working fine or else notification may fail. Also, please do not enable battery saving mode for the app as it will kill the app whilst it is running in the background. I ensure that this app does not consume power while idling so you do not have to enable a battery saver for it!)

• Notifications for News/Articles as and when something is scribbled and published by the editors/members.

• Branch wise contact listing. Contact details for each person will give you their location on a Map widget as the app is integrated with Google Maps (for this to work, the owner of the account should have added their location on their profile). You can also call the respective person from their contact details page.

• Fully-fledged 'Family Tree' where the root nodes are the siblings of H.G Kuriakose Mar Gregorious (Pampady Thirumeni). The tree view will show the family members and the relationship with each other in a beautiful tree view so this is a lifesaver if you are stuck at a family meeting and wondering who is who! Of course, it is always better to have a one-to-one chat with them but just keep in mind that you have a family tree in KGsApp for reference anytime, anywhere! ;)

• "Memories" page with the audio and video recording related to the family and family members. The audio player allows you to tap the home button (not the back button) and enjoy the audio in the background just like any music app. You can also seek and move forward the audio clip from the KGsApp audio player widget in the notifications area.

• "My Articles/News" on the "Profile" tab where you can create and manage articles/news.

• The official song lyrics.
